About the owner

David Farnsworth

David holds a Certified Public Accounting license with the state of California.  He started his accounting career almost a decade ago. He worked at local accounting firms in the Central California area specializing in accounting, tax, and financial audits.  He specialized in providing accounting to small businesses, assurance services to local government (fire, water,sewer, park & rec and community services districts), preparing financial statements, verifying payroll, preparing tax returns among other services.  while working in public accounting. His capacity started as a staff to managing and presenting the audit reports to the board of directors, and consulting with small business owners.

 

After working in public accounting, he found himself as a consultant to a large tech firm, and was part of the team to establish and implement a new customer accounting system.  This new accounting system boasted >10 billion line times on a monthly basis. In his new role, he had to strategize with many different stakeholders and together implement accounting procedures, month end tasks to accountants/analyst and stabilize the accounting operations.  He also worked in providing various reports to the auditors. These reports were customized and written via sql programming language.

 

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, reading, and playing the saxophone.
